In the second quarter of 2024, the performance of top down games on the Android platform in Oceania showcased some interesting trends. Here’s a closer look at how the top five games fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Block Blast! from Hungry Studio saw a substantial rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 13.4K at the beginning of April and peaking at around 46.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also increased, from about 79.9K to 124.4K over the same period.

Hexa Sort by Lion Studios Plus experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting strong at around 20.8K in early April, dipping mid-quarter, but stabilizing around 6.9K by the end of June. Weekly revenue showed a positive trend, beginning at approximately $4.9K and reaching around $11.2K by late June. Active user numbers saw a peak at around 75.2K in mid-April, eventually settling at about 69.9K.

Squad Busters from Supercell, which launched at the end of May, showed rapid growth. Weekly downloads skyrocketed from 1.3K in late May to about 26.8K by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar trend, starting at $20 and climbing to $41.4K in early June. Active users peaked at around 69.1K in early June but declined to about 11.5K by the end of the quarter.

Snake Clash! by Supercent, Inc. maintained steady weekly downloads, starting at around 6.9K and rising to approximately 17.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also increased consistently, from about 21K in early April to around 43.2K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained stable around $300 weekly throughout the quarter.

Finally, Traffic Escape! from FOMO GAMES showed consistent performance in weekly downloads, beginning at about 15.5K in early April and ending at around 11.4K in late June. Weekly revenue showed a gradual increase, starting at approximately $614 and peaking at about $2.1K in mid-June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from around 79.8K to 88.1K over the quarter.
